The building is located just under the castle hill and accessible by car, but parking is public and payable. You can also leave your car in a public garage (payable), which is 5 minutes walk from my building. A parking space can be arranged for you to use for additional payment. Please inform me in advance whether you will need the parking. If you need more specific answers, don't hesitate to ask them...You have access to whole flat and common spaces like hall and lift.
Tourist tax 3,13 EUR/person/night, in force from January 1st, 2019, is not included in the price and will be charged upon your arrival in cash. For children from 7 to 18 years, the tourist tax is 1,56 EUR/person/night. Children up to 7 years of age are exempt from paying the tourist tax. You will need to present some kind of formal ID (card or passport) - this procedure is the same in every hotel, apartment etc. No parking in front of the building - restricted area. You are able to only temporarily drive the car up to the building to unload your luggage. Parking is on the street by the building, it costs 0,8 EUR/hour. A parking card can be arranged for you in a nearby garage for an additional fee: 25 €/1 day, 40 €/2 days ... all further days the price lowers. Max height: 2,10 meters You can buy a Ljubljana Card (online or at Tourist Information Centres), which is a combined ticket to Ljubljana's major sights enabling visitors to explore the city in a comfortable way and at the lowest cost. Unlimited bus rides, free guided tours, boat tour, admissions to museums or ZOO, funicular ride, Ljubljana Castle & more for a period of 1, 2 or 3 days. More info at VisitLjubljana website.
Stepping outside the block of flats you will find yourself in the city center, surrounded by numerous sights. The accommodation will allow you to go sightseeing on foot without getting exhausted or wasting your time on public transport. The nearest restaurant is right beside and there is a grocery shop nearby as well. The location is perfect for newcomers as well as desired by people returning to our beautiful city of Ljubljana. The flat is located just a few meters from the footpath, which leads up to the Ljubljana castle. For those, who don't like to walk uphill, a funicular is available within walking distance of 150 meters. The main marketplace is also 150 meters away, where the pedestrian zone begins.
Building is 15 minutes walk away from Ljubljana main bus/train station. Of course you can pick a taxi or call me to pick you up...If you travel by plane, there is a shuttle transfer to Ljubljana main bus/train station and you can repeat step one...and of course, you can always call me to pick you up at the airport...
